Bottom line:

• This is a Generative Software. As the official presentation states it is used by architects and real estate developers.
• What it is in my own words?: I would call it a parametric software with some AI functions on the cloud.
• Parameters, code compliance: It does have a lot of parameters to set up, which cover a lot of measurements which the codes have requirements for. It is good that these remain available to the end user to tweak, so the generation where and when happens remains readable and transparent. Are those parameters enough to design a building that fully comply with the local jurisdiction. I guess not. I used it for generating an attached building and it somewhat fails.
• Topography: Not possible to take it into account. Did not find a way to import it.
• Iterative workflow: It is good that after the result is generated, one can go back to the settings and tweak them, and see how they reflect on the end result.
• Floor plan generation (AI): It generates residential floor plans, pays attention to the vertical shafts and vert / horizontal communications. It also tries to give a mix of apartment types which the user has defined. The apartment layout left a lot to be desired. Having a separate kitchen is mandatory. A lot of the kitchens, bathrooms are 5 meters long by 1,6 wide. This means if export to Revit is possible really, then there is more work to be done there.
• Basement/ Underground car parking: It puts the vertical communicaiton and the columns in the basement and tries to generate a car parking, user can modify it a bit. It is far from perfect but it can give a good understanding of what is possible and what not.
• Bugs: Bad thing is that there are a lot of bugs, with one of the most often occurring is building being lost from the model. Completely gone. I needed to redo a building a couple of times.
• Interoperability: Import: DWG, DXF. Those can import environment, adjacent buildings, plot, a building itself. Export: It says it can export excel tables, BIM (whatever this format is) and DXF. The exports are restricted by the Areas (in sqm) exported, depending on the type of account. The yearly account has 60 000 sqm / year.
• NOT TESTED / NOT INCLUDED IN TRIAL: Export: I did not export any kind of information from the tool. I am not sure what it is
• It is a fancy piece of software. It does give you a building, which means that work was done for you. A lot of nervous moments for me in the beginning, far from perfect layouts.
• Price: Subscription: 468 Eu/ yearly Pre-Vat and 49 Eur/ month (pre-vat).

Create the project:

There is a dashboard with all your projects, with a bit of info: name, residential areas, parking area, etc. New projects are started from there, too.
