AI in Planning | Part 2

Prompted by the emergence of Artificial Intelligence in late 2022, se.g architekten ventured into a loose research of the topic in April 2023. Frustrated with inconsistent findings we ventured to a more structured approach in January 2024, which we have been conducting since. Key objectives of our research are the following two questions:

• How much research and adaptation can be achieved in parallel to day-to-day project work of a running architectural studio?
• What are the tools capabilities and for and in what type of project tasks might they be utilized in a beneficial way?

At the core of our research stands a table of selected . This selection of applications is our main reference point and by that in constant review. The table is currently grouped in nine thematic chapters shown below. To help with monitoring our own work in progress the entries are marked as follows:
